Hey Sparkle! :D

I know this comment is really late, but I wanted to wait until I could give you a really good one. :aww: I was always a fan of your adorable yellow duck, but I think I may have come to like the Mallard design even more! He's adorable. And from here he still looks quite big to me, but with what I know now he is probably about an inch tall or something right? Haha. I am starting to think I may want to order a Mallard from you. :3 Would that design be too big for a pair of earrings? I would wear those everywhere and proudly tell them where they could get their own :D

Anyway, great job! Making a mallard was a stroke of genius. Well done!

Aww thank you! :glomp: Yup, you're right. The mallard is barely over 1 inch tall. In my personal preference, it's a liiiiittle big to be earrings because I prefer dainty little earrings, but I think a lot of people wouldn't find them too big. Depends on the person! It would look like this in terms of size: cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0154…

If you prefer to get 1 mallard instead of earrings, it can be a figurine like in the pic or I can make it into a charm or cell phone charm. :D Just shoot me a pm and we can go from there!

Oh, gotcha! I do prefer dainty earrings most of the time. I am trying to make my video game jewelry smaller and smaller with little luck so far :XD:

To be honest, the more I think about it, I am still in love with those blue starfish earrings you made once. I can send you a PM about those :D Do you have an estimate of a price for them? c:

Haha it's ok! Making tiny things with clay seems pretty hard. I'm sure you'll eventually be able to make them smaller, but honestly, TOO small would then be difficult for people to notice. :XD:

Sure! I'm assuming you mean these? sparklemehappy.deviantart.com/… I have to admit that they are super pretty and I love them. I just haven't kept them in my shop because jewelry like that just seems so saturated these days so it's difficult to sell...perhaps I should have it in my shop anyways! lol The price is $20. Feel free to shoot me a PM if you want to set up a custom listing. :aww:

That's true :XD:

And yep! Those are the ones indeed! :D And $20 is a great price for those! I may consider getting more than one pair. One for me and one for a friend. c:

I thought I should tell you that because of some life circumstances, my clay and I (and the rest of my art) will be moving back to my primary account, *Resonance21 c: So if you see me faving things, commenting and any PMs from me about that order, just know that it's me. If you are still interested in my art, feel free to add me on there instead. This account is going on hiatus until further notice. Thanks!

I'd be happy to make 2 pair of earrings for you and your friend. Just fyi, I have 1 set of the blue starfish right now, so if you'd like the same blue color for both, it'll take some extra time for me to order more starfish and wait for them to get shipped to me. I also have these GORGEOUS starfish that I've never uploaded pics of because I cannot figure out for the life of me how to capture their colors on camera. It's like a mix of green, orange, pink, and yellow ugh okay that sounds sort of ugly in words but it just depends on the angle you look at it. I also have peach starfish for a natural beachy color, and light blue clear ones. Anywho, just letting you know all your options. XD

Thanks for letting me know so I'm not like "who the heck is this talking to me like they know me??" haha jk. I hope that whatever is going on in your life, things will go well!

Awesome! :D And no, I don't think I'll need two sets of blue starfish earrings... but the second one you mentioned sounds like a Mystic Fire Topaz-like crystal, and those are my favorite :D:D I would LOVE to have a pair of those if they are what I think they are. Omgosh, I'll send you a PM from my primary account right away. Eeeeeee~

And haha you're welcome. And thanks! It's already clearing up well. :) Though, I am sorry to see you won't be transferring over with me, I completely understand as well. I'm glad you will know it's me at least :)

I google'd mystic fire topaz. It's very similar except the one you like has purple, and the one I have is more green and orange/yellow.

Oops! I went ahead and watched your other account. Forgot to do that haha. Looking forward to your PM. :aww:

Thanks! That seems to be the most popular out of the 2. It's funny because the yellow duck was a huge hit and I didn't think I'd be able to make another duck that would be more loved. Looks like I'm going to have to add it to my shop very soon!

I've recently found a love for ducks, especially mallards! Is this a standalone figurine or can it be turned into a charm? And is it for sale? ( The mallard, that is. XD ) By the way, do you learn beading on your own or from books/tutorials? I'd really love to learn it. ^_^

Hi! Yes, the mallards' colors are quite beautiful! The figurine can be turned into a charm, or a cell phone charm. I like to offer all 3 options because yay for options! :aww: It's for sale if you'd like to purchase it. Let me know if you'd like me to set up a custom listing. I learned to bead from Japanese pattern books. You can find them at Japanese book stores or online. Then I started to make my own designs so my shop is expanding. :D

Those are cute! I think it would be a nice idea to do a bunch of different kinda of ducks, or at least a bunch of a certain animal. it would be neat!

Thanks! Yeah, that's what I was aiming for but it didn't turn out that way. XD I get distracted and end up wanting to do other things once I finish an animal LOL. I'm not sure what other ducks I could make besides these two though. I can only think of a white duck. >.< Do you have any suggestions? :aww:

However! I was thinking of using the same design but changing the beak to make various colored parrots. :happybounce:

Yeah colored parrots would be cool! (and I have the same distraction sometimes btw.) Um, maybe a mandarin duck? That ones kinda complicated, because it has a lot of colors though. Or maybe you could make a lesser scaup duck. You can look it up on google, theyre sorta black and white, and if you could do it, I think it would be really pretty!

Mandarin ducks are quite interesting look-wise, but yeah they'd be kind of complicated to bead. XD I looked up the lesser scaup duck and you're right. It's pretty! I might be able to do it. :aww:
